Today’s Name Day is
Swedes like to celebrate. So with a Name Day Calendar you can celebrate not only your “birth” day but your “name” day as well! Extra coffee and cake for you on your name’s day! Today there are so many new names that a name’s day calendar can’t possibly list all the names. The traditional names listed here reflect old Norse culture as well as earlier influences of Christianity. Oh, those nasty weathermen. I looked at the 15 day forecast last nite. They actually dared to put snow in the forecast around Thanksgiving. I am not falling for it. It won’t happen. I am not getting my hopes up to have them dashed.
Yesterday was warm again but a cold front is racing through again here today. Cooler & breezy. Helps to wear many layers.
Last nite I signed up for www.boxstr.com to store all my files on. It is so easy to use & a fast upload. Hopefully my notebook will run more efficient. And those files are then available to me no matter what computer I am on or where I am. Very nice. I can store up to 5gb for free.
Soooo. After cleaning up some files I decided to run a disk cleaner & then defrag. Something I have done many times in the past. What a mistake. I had a website that had all my fave sites on it. Very handy to use as my homepage. Well, all my faves got deleted from that page, plus tons of other stuff. I have no idea how that happened. I thought a system restore might fix it. No such luck, but it changed a new program I had downloaded. Most of it was still there, just no way to open it. I tried to remove it but it would not. I finally just reinstalled & it works fine. Sometimes I really hate computers.
