How quickly things can change. John called back & he was able to have lunch after all. Nice to get out among the living. And he treated!!!!
It is scary how weak I am from being ill. Just getting dressed made me short of breath. That is not good. I have got to find a way to get stronger. For the first time I sense how easy it could be to end up in a nursing home. And I am scared to death. One bad illness & it could be all over.
Work was ok. Nothing going on there. I took some photos of things locally & have done some Christmas designs. I just cannot decide what to use as my Christmas card this year. Very frustrating. Usually we start getting cards after Thanksgiving. Have not recieved one yet. Strange. But with temps in the 70s, who feels like Christmas?
Mom was not home when I got there. She was off to Marquette for the community Swedish dinner. But I put the candy out as the staff was all smiles!!! They have waited patiently for treats!! The photo is of her Santa sack on the door full of candy canes & kisses.
When I got home Bill & Jenn were here. The kitty was helping them work. And Bill had some treats for her. He had a load of salami that was refused so the cats got a broken package & we got the rest in our freezer. Mmmm.
It is really cold out now. Only 25F. It was supposed to get to 40F but I think it never got that warm. It was 53F at midnite but then dropped. So far nothing on the radar.
