Today’s Name Day is August, Augusta. I have ancestors with both names. In a red topcoat To sound and sight The car is back in the shop today. The passenger window is down about 2″ & will not go back up. It is more than irritating. We have it covered with tape & it howls when I drive. Sally picked me up at the shop. We went for coffee. Then we called John & had lunch with him. Boy, is it nice to be back with people!! I have been out of circulation for so long!! Last nite I slept in the living room with Jo. But tonite we will try the bathroom. She was very good last nite. She slept near me on the soffa. We are having fun with her. She has a pile of treasures that she plays with!Willie built a pen for her around our dog house. She has no clue of her name or what come here means. So until…..she can be in the pen when we are gone. I got really bad news today. Ashley’s parent’s are divorcing. I am very upset. Ash is doing ok for now. I cannot say why since they live here & I do not want to hurt Ash. The stupidity of one of them is absolutely amazing. But not surprising. Chris is upset. First he has to deal with his mother’s stupidity & now this. Poor kids. They always get the raw end of the deal. If I feel helpless, how must they feel. Fred is not my son but he feels like a child to us. I wish I could help him. It was really nice out today. I even spotted a dandelion in our yard!! But rain/snow is headed our way after midnite. Maybe 3 inches. I am happy. Most of our snow is gone now. I had a docent meeting tonite. Marsha made wild rice soup that was to die for!! I have got to try it at home. Willie drove me in & bought groceries. We left Jo in her new pen. When we got home she was sure excited to see us! Inside she had to sit on each of our laps & then play with her toys & running between us. And once today she even went to the door & whined before she piddled. There is already hope!! Gått för dagen.
