Today’s Name Day is Anton,Tony. I had minister when I was in high school who was Anton. He was a very rigid stern man. My daughters second husband was Tony. He was a drugged up, violent man that simply takes up space in this world. I feared him then &t I still fear him. Thought for today: Most people want to be delivered from temptation, but would like to keep in touch. – Robert Orben
It was just beautiful out this morning. Although we got down to 8F without the wind, not so bad. The sun on the snow was spectacular. We saw a high of 23F. The roads around noon were still snow/ice packed but by 3pm, all was clear. I met Sally & Bunny for lunch today. We sat & talked for a long time. A nice meal with nice people. I then we to the Red Barn. I bought a painting from David Friday, a friend & the artist at the studio. I paid for it but did not get to keep it. It is going to a show at Bethel KS then I can have it. I know David is having an open house there & I plan to go. I hope. Maybe I can take it home then. If not, will pick it up when in Wichita sometime. Tonite Connie & I went to see the movie Juno. It was just wonderful. I highly recommend it. It was funny & sad at the same time. And I loved the music. I might have to see it again later. I came home & Willie had something saved for me to see……what Jo had done while he was in the shower. She had pulled, torn, scattered toilet paper all down the hallway. What a nice puppy!!!
