Today’s Name Day is Diana. I know only one Diana, the princess. Thought for today: The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing. — John Powell I saw an ad in the newspaper about a dr. in McPherson that does accupuncture. I called for an appointment & then made one for when we have snow forecast. Duh. Hopefully the roads will stay ok & I can go. I am hoping she can help ease some of the pain in my knee & back……………& make me thinner & have less wrinkles & more money……………..am I setting my sights a bit high??? The last time I went to a chiropractor for my back it just got worse. And physical therapy did not help my knee at all. No amount of doing those exercises did anything but make it hurt worse. Then my knee got better for a while & now it is getting really sore again. My back usually hurts when I stand for a while. I did not sleep very good last nite. A family member is in a rough patch & I am clueless what to do to make it better. There could be some severe consequences. I am just stressed beyond words. It was in the upper 40s when I went to bed last nite. I got up & it is 19!!! What a jolt! And we are in a high wind warning again so they winds are howling at 45 mph. Then about 15 minutes after I got up —– snow. I see no need to stick my nose out the door. At least not until Messiah rehearsal tonite. Today is the 147th birthday of my state of Kansas. There is no big celebration anywhere, at least not in my area. I did watch the State of Union address last nite for what it was worth. Sort of an alternative state of reality. Some of the things GW is pushing for now he should have been doing all along & our country would not be in the shape it is in. And something else he wants there to be, there already is but he refuses to get onboard. Nothing new last nite.
