It is miserably cold today. Only got up to mid-20s. And that wind was just bitter. Chance of freezing stuff after midnite. Same song, second — or tenth — verse! Met John & David for lunch today. It was an early Valentine’s celebration for us! David has painted some wonderful pieces of my ‘artwork’ in psp. They are gorgeous. That is my photo today. Mine are on top & his on underneath them. He also had a wonderful interpretation of a Birger Sandzén. I loved it. It was nice to see him again too. Seems like I never get to Wichita anymore. It has been months since I was there. After the wedding….. Then the 3 of us walked down to a gallery & visit another artist friend of ours. I do not get to see her as often as I would like. Then it was Messiah rehearsal. Today was our first St. Matthews Passion by Bach rehearsal. It is so difficult & intense. Plus we had to learn a new song we have never sang before. Bach has never affected me much, but 2 years ago we had 4 soloists from Sweden who came with Håkan Hagegård. All 5 sang with us. We usually get older established singers but these were young & fresh. And, oh, they sang with such feeling. I had tears that year for the first time. They were the best. Willie & I ate out tonite. I refuse to cook on sundays when I am busy & not home until 1730. I told him that either he had food on the table or be ready to go to town. It was nice to go out. Nice to eat out & not have to cook!!! Gått för dagen. Kanske.
