The weather is almost yucky today. Not so warm but not really cold either. And the wind is back again. Very cloudy & looks like it could be rainy, but nothing was on the radar earlier. But I worked so it did not matter.
Had lunch with Sally today. Had the best salad —- baked potato salad. Made with baked potatoes, sour cream, chives, bacon. TO…..DIE….FOR!!!
Got good news. The Cookery restaurant that just closed is going to reopen as a Mexican restaurant. Very good. Something different. I hope it does well. Our new Subway has the boards off the windows & new pavement where customers park. Surely they will open soon. Not my favourite place but 100x better than McDonald’s that was there. Much healthier.
Bill called me at work & said I would have a fax waiting at home. Got home. No fax. Again. He called them. They tried to fax again. My machine would not connect to them. I think they faxing from their pc instead of directly from the fax machine. Bill finally had them email it to me, I printed it out, signed it, & faxed it back. I wasted at least an hour. Then I could not call Bill. He was in a dead area. It was very frustrating. I redid my fax setup & there was something that had changed. No idea if it matters, but will see the next time someone tries to fax.
I am just freezing here at home. The heat was off while I was gone. I have it on now so hopefully I will warm up soon.
