Thought for today:
I met Sally, Paul, & Bryan at Season’s for lunch. Invited Willie to go but he declined. A nice meal. Sally has a Swedish costume I am borrowing. I have material for one, but have not had time to have it made. This one will buy me time. Not very authentic, but it will do. There were some impressive clouds all around us, then they disappeared. Then this evening they reappeared but have all gone south. What a relief. We did hit 96F today. It was miserable. No breeze at all. But tonite the breeze came up from the north & it cooled off. Very nice. We went to a bbq at our nephew Kyle’s house. I am glad they include us in their family get-togethers. His wife & her family are so nice. It was both a Dad’s Day celebration & our great nephew’s 3rd birthday. Now we are home. Willie & Jo are dead to the world. I, at least, am awake. Alert, maybe not, but awake. Gått för dagen. Kanske.
