I served my last harvest meal for 2008 tuesday nite. It was hot hot hot out & windy. One small patch Willie will finish this afternoon. Glad we are done.
After lunch there was a brief shower & the temp dropped. The key word is brief. Then it & the clouds went away. With the wetness, the humidity became intolerable & hardly a breeze. No warnings for here yet but it looks like rain is approaching later.
Work was just beyond boring today except for chatting with Marsha. Not a phone call & no tours.
I got a letter for jury duty. Most of the time they are cancelled, but, oh no, not this time. I have to be in court in the morning. I do not want this now. I have put my life on hold for harvest. I miss my friends. Hopefully I will not be suitable.
