The weather was still miserable today. It was sunny & only in the 80s but the humidity stayed fairly high. One did not want to do much physical labour outside!
I met Rodger, our artist in residence, for lunch at Jalisco’s today. Nice to have some time together to chat. I wish he was staying here longer..
While I lunched Willie removed the old dishwasher. After cleaning out where it sat he moved the new one in. Then one of the connections was different so back to town. He is now hooking it all up. I do not remember ever being excited to wash dishes but I sure wish he would hurry!!! And then to put the house back together!!!
Jo came in to find a large empty spot in the kitchen. She growled. Then she barked. Without moving her hind feet, she stretched to take a sniff! What a brave & intelligent dog!
Later: The dishwasher is doing its first load. Wow. We can watch tv without having to turn it off. So quiet. The inside is stainless steel. I love that. When this load is done, Willie will pull it back out to make sure there are no leaks. Then secure it in place. It sure is nice.
