The weather is the same ol’ same ol’. I hate it!! Good to stay in out of the heat/humidity.
I had lunch with Josh. Had not seen him in ages. We caught up on each others lives. I am sure gonna miss him when he leaves. I fear I will never see him again.
I worked again today. B-o-r-i-n-g day. No calls. No tours. Did some tedious work. Just a long day with no one to talk to & nothing interesting to do.
I subscribe to a magazine from Sweden that my friend Alf writes for. He wrote an article about a Swedish man who carves figures out of wood. In the article he made a brief mention of my great grandmother who was a wood carver from Sweden. So I emailed him that I was her great granddaughter. He had no idea. He has asked me to write an article about her for the magazine. That will make me a published author!! Me!!! Who would have thought? I am quite excited!! I told him he would have to make it sound like someone intelligent wrote. And he has published many books/articles, most about Lindsborg. The photo today is my great grandmother who was known as Grandma Larkin.
