The weather is horrible. I hate it. This is our third day of 100+ temps. Today I saw 102F/39C. But tonite we had a severe storm rage though here. We had high winds then heavy rains but did not rain a lot all totaled. And it went from 102F to now it is 77F/25C. Ah. But triple digits again tomorrow. While it was hot there was not even a slight breeze to be had. In Wichita there was a huge storm that shut down a major highway. It was called a ‘white out’. Visibility was nil. They said it was a strong down burst. The hail flattened all plants. The winds blew semi’s off the road & flipped them over. Not a good thing but luckily, no one was hurt.
I stayed home yesterday, mostly in bed. Forced myself to get up & out today. Not an easy thing.
Had lunch with John. We ate at Jalisco’s & their A/C was broken. Happened yesterday. They had the front door open & all the fans on. It actually did not feel too bad. After we started to eat, the door was shut. The A/C was fixed!! They were quite happy!
I had an acupuncture treatment today. I was waaay out of whack. She did needles in different places. Then she did a second treatment of 2 needles in my left ear & a several on my poor old sore knee. The ear ones are to calm my mind so I can not be so stressed & upset. I hope it works. It has to work.
Heard that my friend Chris from the bad car wreck was discharged from the rehab centre & now home with his wife. Hopefully he will be back at work here soon!!!
I got my magazine article written. I had photos in it but then it was too huge to send & when I did send it, Alf could not open it. So. I removed all the photos & put them on Photobucket. Then it was easy to send the article. It is now in Sweden. Hope it is good enough to print.
