The weather was better. It was cloudy early, stayed cloudy, rained some, but the humidity was atrocious.
Had swedish group. We had a swedish lesson. It was fun. Had 2 visitors. One said his grandma was friends with Willies grandma & those 2 women used to walk from Falun to Brookville to buy groceries. That would be a 10 mile walk. Amazing!! His family name was Krig, pronounced creeg. I grew up next to some of his cousins, but we prounounced it crig. Willies sister went to her senior prom with one of the Krig boys. I double dated with her & my date was a Lindholm. Both of our dates died in Vietnam. Neither deserved such an end.
I drove to Abilene for ‘drugs’. Heavy rain in Salina but no where else. Cleaned the car off though.
Met friends for coffee later. Nice to take my mind off my life & laugh a bit.
