-Varmt välkommen hit-
I have family in New Zealand. Peter’s great grandfather was a brother to my great grandmother, both from Sweden. Peter is part Swedish, Irish, and Maori. I heard from his wife Raewyn, who is Maori. She has a blogg. You can find it at this link. The photo today is of Raewyn and their daughter Taaniko. Peter is a rugby coach at a college. And at least one of their sons plays rugby.
I had acupuncture today. But my back still hurt. At Messiah rehearsal tonite I sat in the audience rather than with the chorus. Those chairs are horrible and I just did not want to have stand and sit and stand again. Besides, it is good to hear how we sound. Mostly good. But one chorus our new director is taking it way too fast. I hated it. Sounded like a runaway train. We had the orchestra for part of rehearsal. They have never sounded so good.
We are starting to have new little calves born. Going to have to try to get a photo or two of them. We are so dry but Willie hopes the rain waits a bit until more or most are born. And now it is going to be really warm this next week also.
Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared. – Buddha
