Even more humidity

-Varmt välkommen hit- If your name is Eleonora or Ellinor, then today is your day! I woke up to 80% humidity. Just feeding the cats was a chore — sweat and wheezing!! It stayed miserable all day. We fog this morning, clouds all day, and tonite it was getting really hazy again. The wind came up fairly strong from the east in the early evening. I sat outside for an hour or so. Watched the cats play, listened to the birds. Very nice. Where I live is called the Smoky Valley. If you go to the top of one of our hills and look down in the valley there is almost always a blue haze. You never see it in town, but only from afar. I imagine that is why the early Swedes called it such. Tonite it was a blue haze every where!! I worked this afternoon and had hoped for a calm quiet afternoon. I got started on some work and then it started. A small group of 3 came in. I started my tour. Then a group of 2 came in and joined the tour. I sort of caught them up. Then a group of 4 came in and joined in mid-tour. Very stressful. I ended up with giving 14 tours. And people coming in for info about an event taking place tonite. Several artists and students drew designs in chalk on the sidewalks downtown. My only working on Saturdays really isolates me. I knew little about this and it was frustrating. And no info in my office to help me. The docent for tomorrow cancelled. There is an open house for a lady turning 90. Everyone has known about it for at least 2-3 weeks. Soooo. I call tomorrows docent to remind her and she suddenly has to work at the open house. She had weeks to find a replacement. Like nailing Jello to a tree. I am working tomorrow. John already worked last Sunday. Might as well just be him and me as no one else can bother. Tonite we went to eat Big Cheese Pizza. I did not think I was hungry but I scarfed down one piece more than I usually eat. Now I am craving water from all the sodium in it. But, oh, it was sooo good!!
