Rain now comes heat

-Varmt välkommen hit- If your name is Joel or Judit, then today is your day! I worked Sunday afternoon. The scheduled docent suddenly remembered she had to work at an open house that was scheduled weeks ago. Very frustrating. Work was fairly quiet. Gave 2 tours and had the computer to myself. I chose to not do any real work. Sundays I should be able to just enjoy being there. I had lunch with John on Sunday. No one else joined us. Good food. Last nite we had thunder starting around 10pm. And rain. It kept on until at least 2am. I enjoyed listening so I did not sleep well. Took a nap today. Tonite we had an auction meeting in Hutchinson. Most everyone cancelled out. Two actually let me know they were not coming. Four others never let anyone know anything. One was late. So like nailing Jello to a tree. We are a large committee but only 7 or less ever attend. In Hutch we ate at a wonderful Mexican restaurant called the Anchor Inn. Food was so-so but the decor was awesome. Kind of strange though. When we left they had music playing in the outside eating area. It was Czech music. Huh? Weather was same ole same ole. Tomorrow we are in am extreme heat warning. Yippee. I need to buy groceries. Will be a great time. Jo has surgery tomorrow morning. I hope all goes well. I am worried. Willie is already having the separation anxiety. Gonna be a long day and nite for them both.
