Photo blogg here.
Weather was perfect. Got in the low 50s over nite and now at 3pm it is only 68F. Ahhhh. I love it.
The photo above is a scissor-tailed flycatcher. He set on my fence and let me drive really near him. I love them. When they fly their tail opens up and looks like a scissor. They never come near our house, just stay out in the open spaces.
My day started very sad. Jo was barking outside and sounded very angry. Willie walked out to see what was going on. He found our female cat had been killed. Probably a coyote. No doubt, Jo scared it off. She was a nice kitty. Now we have no way to have kittens. Have to get a new cat or two next year. We cannot be without cats. Do not want to be invaded with mice again.
Met with John, Paul, and Sally at the Bethany College caf for lunch. Great food there and quite cheap. Had ham, potatoes au gratin, corn rolls, and brownies with cherries in them. Ate way too much.
Then it was home to suffer through football and nascar. I dislike both and to have to watch both at the same time. Thank God for my laptop. Both over now. Ahhh.
Ciao for niao!
Jag behöver semester! Jag vill åka till Sverige!
Late last night
While we were all in bed
Miss O’Leary left a lantern in the shed . . .
When the cow tipped it over…
She winked her eye and said,
“It will be a hot time in the old town tonight.”
