Weather was still windy today but sunny and got up to 40F. Really cold last nite and again tonite. And I noticed the snow that was forecast for next week has disappeared. Typical. Always my luck to miss out. But it makes everyone else happy. More important.

Busy day today. Started with breakfast with Naomi at the ‘new’ Swedish Crown in Lindsborg. We both had Swedish pancakes with lingon and whipped cream. They were perfect.

Then I met Chad and Sally for lunch. They ate, I watched. I owed Sally for money for an order from the spa party I missed last week. Had a nice visit. One of the waiters told me the weather was ‘mucho frio’ — very cold. I agreed!

Then I picked up copies of songs we are singing this friday, deposited money in the bank, and paid for a bus trip later this week.

Back home. Fixed tacos for supper. The holiday doldrums continue. It is a struggle. Oh, to have a soft place to land. Not enjoying them.
